1. What we collect

Account information

• Your email address, used to create and sign in to your account.
• A first name you choose to provide, so Aura can address you personally.
• Sign-in method (email/password or, if you choose it, Google sign-in).

Wellness content you create

• Your conversations with Aura (your messages and her replies).
• Your daily energy check-ins (chakra, energy state, optional note, date).
• Your journal entries, folders, and any tags you apply or that are auto-detected.
• Practice completions and any character-structure assessments you complete.

Preferences

• Notification opt-in, daily reminder time, and theme preferences.

Anonymous visitors

If you chat with Aura without an account, we limit the number of messages per device to protect against abuse. This uses a coarse identifier (such as IP address) kept only for the current day and not linked to a profile.

Technical data

Standard, minimal technical data such as device type and approximate region, used to keep the service running and to understand aggregate usage.

2. How we use your information

• To provide your conversations with Aura, your check-ins, and your journal.
• To personalize Aura's responses using your recent check-ins and journal themes, never recited back like a report.
• To send daily check-in reminders you've opted into, by push notification when you use the mobile app, or by email as a fallback.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to train advertising models.

3. Wellness and AI services

Your messages are sent to our AI service provider to generate Aura's responses. Your content is used only to generate your reply and is not used to train third-party models. We do not share your personal conversations for advertising purposes.

4. Who can see your data

Everything you create is private to your account. No other user can see your conversations, check-ins, or journal. App administrators may access records only as needed to operate and secure the service (for example, to respond to your support request or prevent abuse).

5. Data retention and deletion

• You can clear your entire conversation history with Aura at any time in Settings → "Your data & privacy." Journal entries and check-ins are unaffected.
• You can delete individual journal entries at any time.
• You can request full account deletion in Settings → Account. Deletion is irreversible from within the app.
• Anonymous daily usage records are kept only for the current day.

6. Notifications

If you enable reminders, Aura sends a gentle daily nudge. On mobile this is a push notification; on web or where push is unavailable, an email fallback. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings, and you can withdraw notification permission in your device settings.

7. Children

Aura is intended for general audiences but is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your privacy choices

• Access & portability: you can view your conversations, check-ins, and journal within the app.
• Correction: you can edit your name, reminder time, and journal entries.
• Deletion: you can clear your conversation, delete journal entries, or delete your account.
• Withdraw consent: disable notifications, or disconnect Google sign-in by changing your sign-in method.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method is perfectly secure, but we limit access to what's needed to operate the service.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We'll note the updated date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.

11. Wellness disclaimer

Aura offers spiritual and emotional wellness guidance for reflection purposes. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or financial advice. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical emergency, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
